OBJECTIVES

  • Create an interactive space for dialogue between humanitarian actors, disaster risk management specialists, scientists, and strategic allies in the region;
  • Promote the importance of disaster and crisis anticipation and identify opportunities for its implementation;
  • Promote the exchange of good practices and lessons learned in FbF/anticipatory action in Latin America and the Caribbean;
  • Share progress and new initiatives in terms of conceptualization, methodologies and tools on anticipatory action at the global and regional levels.
